About

My name is Tatjana Mitrovic. I was born in Belgrade, Serbia, former Yugoslavia. From early childhood I was surrounded by Russian books (my mother was the professor of Russian language) and music (my father was an Orchestra director. I remember my childhood as a very funny and musical one. I went through a piano music school and also was a professional Folk ballet dancer. As any musical person I had an ear for languages as well, so I studied English, Russian and Italian and graduated in Italian language and literature at Belgrade University and got my specialization in Comparative Slavic and Roman grammar from Siena University, Italy. Currently I work at DLI FLC as Pashto Academic coordinator helping other teachers to do their job more effectively. I am also pursuing my Master's degree at CSUMB in Instructional design and technology.
I have two beatuful and very gifted daughters who are the joy of my life.
